Poseidon Athens Half Marathon

The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon takes place on 25 April 2027 along Faliro Bay in Athens, close to Flisvos Marina, the National Opera and the Ilisos river, with a half marathon (21.1 km), a quarter marathon (10.6 km), a 5 km race and a 5 km power walk.

This multi-race event raises awareness of diabetes and obesity while encouraging an active lifestyle. The wider programme also includes a children's race, a 1–2 km charity race and a two-person relay. The flat, fast route follows the coastline along Poseidonos Avenue, starting and finishing at the Palaio Faliro cultural and sports centre. Music, green initiatives and an art competition for children add to a festive, inclusive atmosphere open to all ages and abilities.
