About

The Wings For Life World Run - Ljubljana - Flagship Run is the Ljubljana edition of the annual global charity run, taking place on 9 May 2027 with a start at 13:00. Participants all over the world set off at the same moment from different locations, and there is no fixed distance to cover.

Instead of a traditional finish line, runners are chased by a Catcher Car that begins its pursuit 30 minutes after the start and decides when each person's race is over. The event raises money for the Wings for Life foundation, which supports research into treatments for spinal cord injury.
