Top of Tamarack in Tamarack challenges athletes to test their endurance and resilience by climbing a mountain over 15 miles (24.1 km), running, hiking or cycling. On September 25, 2027, the bike start is at 8:00 a.m. and the run/hike start at 8:15 a.m.

Along the way, competitors collect a token at each distance marker, each one representing mental strength. The event stands out for its dual mission: honoring those facing mental health challenges and paying tribute to those lost to suicide, while fostering unity among athletes from all backgrounds. All profits go to Gr8ter, Inc., a local nonprofit supporting mental health initiatives. The fastest men and women in the running and cycling categories earn the titles of King and Queen of the Mountain.
