About

Sasquatch Shuffle is a two-day trail event in McCall, Idaho, on October 10–11, 2026, organized by Endless Trails. The first day, starting at 8:00 a.m., features the 50/50, a 100K (62 miles) format, and the 50K (31 miles). The second day brings a 30K (about 18.6 miles) and a 20K (about 12.4 miles).

Mountain trails around McCall in October mean altitude, real climbing and a chance of early snow, so every distance here is a genuine mountain effort. The 100K format is for experienced ultrarunners who want a long day in the Idaho backcountry, while the 50K is a good goal for anyone stepping up from a trail marathon. The Sunday 30K and 20K make the weekend accessible to runners who prefer a half-day race, or to friends supporting a Saturday ultrarunner. For the long formats, plan 18 to 20 weeks of training with long runs on hilly terrain, plenty of uphill hiking and some practice with poles if you intend to use them. Pack layers, gloves and a headlamp for the 100K, and expect cold starts at this elevation.
