About

The Runner’s Choice Trail Run takes place in the beautiful Rock Bridge State Park in Columbia, Boone County, on January 30, 2027, with a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 20K (12.4 miles), both starting at 9 a.m. Runners choose between a quick 10K loop and a demanding double loop of 20K.

Both courses are 100% singletrack, winding through the scenic Devil's Ice Box trails. At the end of the first loop, each runner decides whether to finish or keep going for the longer distance. Registration is free online once a waiver has been completed. Facilities are minimal: there are no restrooms or aid stations on the course, but water will be available at the start/finish for 20K runners. Race headquarters in the upper parking lot serves as the gathering point and post-race refueling spot.
