Go Girl Run takes place in Columbia, Missouri, in early June, and is designed to encourage women of all ages and fitness levels. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:00 a.m. and the 5K at 7:10 a.m., on streets across Boone County.

Participants join a supportive community, and everyone who finishes receives a custom shirt, a medal and a special keepsake. The event promotes health, fitness and women's strength, and welcomes experienced runners and beginners alike.
