Bournemouth Coastal Ten

The Bournemouth Coastal Ten puts runners' endurance to the test on the Dorset coast on 5 December 2026, with a choice of a 10-mile (16.1 km) or 10K trail run for athletes after both a challenge and great scenery. Both routes are flat and ideal for chasing a personal best, with around 102 m of elevation gain on the 10 miles, which starts at 08:30, and 50 m on the 10K, which starts at 09:00.

The race starts at Hengistbury Head, a venue with convenient facilities and immediate access to nature. Runners then pick up the pace on Bournemouth's famous seafront paths, including a memorable stretch past Boscombe Pier with superb sea views. Along the way, the course offers inspiring views of the Isle of Wight, the Needles and Old Harry Rocks on the legendary Jurassic Coast. Whether the focus is speed or endurance, the event offers an encouraging, upbeat atmosphere for runners of all abilities.
