About

The YOLO Run in Davis offers a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K run/walk and a 2K run/walk at UC Davis Health Stadium, held to support children and families affected by necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). The race is a collaboration between the NEC Society and UC Davis Children's Hospital, aiming to raise awareness and advance research, education and advocacy for those affected by NEC.

All three distances start at 8:00 a.m. on May 15, 2027, and participants both start and finish inside the stadium. The NEC Society was founded by Jennifer and Noah Canvasser after their son Micah died of the disease. The event also offers finisher medals, T-shirts and post-race activities.
