Shamrock'n Weekend

Shamrock'n Weekend spans March 13 and 14, 2027, in West Sacramento, California. Saturday runs the shorter distances: a kids dash at 8:00 a.m., the 5K wheelchair start at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K at 8:25 a.m., then the 10K and 10K wheelchair races at 9:00 a.m. Sunday is for the half marathon (13.1 miles), with the wheelchair start at 7:35 a.m. and the running start at 7:45 a.m.

Wheelchair divisions in three distances make this an unusually accessible road weekend, and the split schedule means a family can race Saturday and still watch or run again on Sunday. Sacramento Valley roads are flat, so the half is a fair place to test a spring goal pace after a 12- to 16-week build with one long run and one faster session each week.
