About

The Davis Stampede Half Marathon takes place in Davis, California, in the second half of February, at Playfields Park. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8:00 a.m., the 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:10 a.m. and a 1.2-mile family run/walk at 9:00 a.m.

The courses are mostly flat and run through local green spaces and neighborhood streets. Participants receive medals, shirts and electronic timing, with access to a post-race expo. Awards cover overall winners, age groups and special divisions, and a virtual option is available. Disabled participants, strollers and dogs are welcome in designated divisions. Proceeds benefit Cancer Champions. Registrations are not refundable, and the event runs rain or shine, so pack a light jacket for the Central Valley's winter weather.
