About

The Tsali Ultra - Almond, NC, formerly known as the Tsali Frosty Foot, is an endurance trail race held at the Tsali Recreation Area on January 16, 2027. Runners choose from three distances: the 50K (30.1 miles / 48.4 km) at 8 a.m., the 30K (16.8 miles / 27.1 km) at 9 a.m. and the 8K (4.3 miles / 7 km) at 9:30 a.m. Cutoff times are in place for safety.

The course includes a few creek crossings, and runners who go off course must retrace their steps. Aid stations provide drinks, but runners need to bring their own cups; drop bags are available for 50K runners. Spectators are welcome but should stay clear of the aid station areas. No pets are allowed. Runners receive a custom award and a hoodie. The event may be postponed in case of bad weather.
