The Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Road Race & Family Fun Day to Cure ALS takes place in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, on June 12, 2027, with the 5K starting at 8:30 a.m. and a 1-mile Kids' Color Run at 10 a.m.

Known as Step Up to Cure ALS, the event packs in plenty of activities: the race, the kids' color run and a toddler trot, plus a family fun day. A virtual option is also available for the race. Proceeds go to The Angel Fund for ALS Research, which supports research into ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, at UMass Chan Medical School.
