Guinness Celtic 5K

Guinness Celtic 5K is an Irish-themed race in Worcester, Massachusetts, on March 14, 2027. The 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 11:00 AM and welcomes runners and walkers alike, with a Kids Leprechaun Run over 1 kilometer for ages twelve and under at 10:30 AM. You can register with or without the event's finisher medal, and virtual participation is also available.

Awards go to the top three overall as well as to age-group and team winners, and the race counts toward the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a series of holiday-themed events. That series angle is worth considering if you want a reason to keep racing through the spring. An 11:00 AM start also removes the usual excuse for skipping a warm-up, so jog for ten minutes and add a few strides before lining up.
