The TARC Spring Classic takes place in the Jericho woods in Weston, Massachusetts, in late April, and is a low-key trail race on a fairly flat, easy loop that suits all levels. The distances are a 50K (31.1 miles), a marathon (26.2 miles), a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 10K (6.2 miles). The 10K starts at 8:00 AM, and the others start at 8:15 AM. The event is cup-free, so participants must bring their own cup or bottle, and all aid is provided at one location, the start and finish. A flat loop makes it easy to judge your effort and keep a steady pace.
