The Ring - Massanutten Trail Circuit Run

The Ring is a full traverse of the Massanutten Trail in Virginia, a demanding 71-mile route marked by orange blazes through the George Washington National Forest. The course follows the ridgelines of both the eastern and western ranges of the Massanutten Mountains, circling around Fort Valley between the towns of Front Royal and Luray. Runners who take it on cover the entire loop trail in one continuous push, making it one of the longer point-to-point trail circuits in the region.
