About

The EQUALIZER RUN and RECOVER-FEST! takes place in Marthasville, Missouri, on October 24, 2026, with two distances leaving together at 8 a.m.: a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a five-mile event run as five laps. Both share the same start, the same finish and the same post-race gathering, so a group can split across the two options and still spend the morning together.

The lapped five-miler is a friendly format for a runner stepping up from the 5K, since each circuit brings you back past the start and you always know exactly how much is left. The half marathon suits anyone with a few months of consistent running behind them; give it 12 weeks with one long run each week and resist going out with the five-mile crowd, whose pace will be well ahead of yours in the first mile.
