About

The Frozen Stick 5 Mile and Half Marathon Trail Run takes place in Wildwood, Missouri, in late February, with both races starting at 9:00 a.m. It closes the Stick Season Trail Run series and comes out of the Frozen Feet tradition. The half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 5-mile race start and finish at LaSalle Middle School.

The course travels the Bluffview, Rock Hollow and Zombie Trails. Runners get aid stations, a warm indoor finish area, an awards ceremony, a neck gaiter, chip timing and downloadable photos. The top male and female finishers receive prizes. The event is meant to be an enjoyable but challenging winter run. Ice and mud are likely on Missouri trails in late February, so wear shoes with strong grip and bring a dry change of clothes for after the finish.
