About

The Tamalpa Headlands 50K, held at Muir Beach, is a 50K (31-mile) trail ultra on Marin County's signature trails: Coastal, Miwok, Steep Ravine and Dipsea. The single-loop course was created in 1998 and is backed by the county's largest running club. The next edition is scheduled for August 15, 2027.

With plenty of climbing along the way, it is a demanding ultra, just minutes from downtown San Francisco.
