About

The Mt. Tam Wild Boar Half Marathon & 10K takes place in Mt. Tamalpais State Park, California, in late April, on a coastal trail course with views of the Pacific Ocean below. Both races start at 8:00 AM at Rock Springs, where the route mixes paved roads with winding dirt trails along Ridgecrest Boulevard, on the Bolinas Ridge that divides east and west Marin County. Views take in the Bolinas Lagoon, the Pacific and the Marin watershed. The 10K (6.2 miles) turns left onto the Willow Camp Trail and returns by the coastal trail. The half marathon (13.1 miles) continues to Bolinas/Fairfax Road before coming back the same way.
