About

The Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane 5K takes place in Weston, Massachusetts, on June 6, 2027, at Weston Town Hall. This USATF-certified 5K (3.1 miles) is open to runners and walkers and raises money for Lovelane, a therapeutic riding program for children with special needs.

The race was created in memory of Susan McDaniel, a former Lovelane student, and funds financial aid so that every child who needs therapy can access Lovelane's programs, whatever their family's financial situation. The day starts with the Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run at 10:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 11 a.m. and a 1-mile walk at 11:05 a.m. Expect live music, a food truck, activities and prizes.
