Sangre de Cristo Trail Festival

Test your endurance and trail skills on the Rainbow Trail, deep in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains — an outing ranked among the most scenic and demanding in the country for endurance athletes.

Take on rugged, hilly terrain beneath striking peaks as you navigate the wild boundaries of the Southern Colorado Rockies, on a course built for both scenery and challenge. Six distances are on offer, ranging from about 8 miles up to a 104-mile ultramarathon, with marathon, 50K, and 100K options along the way. Participants receive gender-specific technical race shirts and finisher medals, have access to well-stocked aid stations, and join a supportive, athletic community.
