About
RuckUs 4 FREEDOM, the Ruckus H.E.R.O. Ruck 4 Freedom, invites the Marshalltown community to join active-duty service members, veterans and first responders for a challenging ruck march. It takes place on June 26, 2027, with the 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk starting at 9:00 a.m.
Participants can walk or run in honor of the armed forces, with the option of carrying a weighted rucksack; you must bring your own. Funds raised support soldiers' mental health and outdoor adventures for veterans. The event offers medals, T-shirts and awards, as well as a runners' brunch.
