About

The Rivertown Races take place at Millennium Park in Walker, Michigan, just outside Grand Rapids, over a weekend in mid-April. This family-friendly event starts on Friday evening at 6:00 PM with the Rivertown Kids one-mile fun run. On Saturday morning, the half marathon (13.1 miles) goes off at 7:55 AM, followed by the 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:25 AM. The route passes along roads, trails and bridges, surrounded by rolling terrain and wetlands. Food, drinks, music and entertainment for families are part of the event, which makes it easy to bring a group that includes both runners and spectators.
