The River City Roots Run! is a 4-mile (6.4 km) race in Missoula organized by Run Wild Missoula and the Missoula Downtown Association, held alongside the River City Roots Festival. It starts at 8:30 a.m. on August 21, 2027.

Open to people of all ages and abilities, it promotes an active lifestyle through a run or a fun walk. Participants enjoy a morning race before joining the festival activities later in the day.
