About

The Sentinel Hill Climb is a short, steep uphill race in Missoula, Montana. It starts at the M Trail parking lot at the University of Montana and finishes on the summit of Mount Sentinel: about 1.5 miles with roughly 2,000 feet of elevation gain.

The race starts in the evening, around 6:00 p.m. Fifteen minutes earlier, kids run for free from the base area up to the "M" in the Free Kids M Trail Fun Run. After the climb, Big Dipper Ice Cream is waiting for runners at the M-Trailhead amphitheater.
