About

The Rajecký Maratón takes place in Rajec, in Slovakia’s Žilina Region, on 7 August 2027. Runners can choose between the full marathon over 42.195 km and the Rajecký polmaratón, a half marathon of 21.097 km. A marathon relay, the Rajecká štafeta, is also on the programme.

The road course runs through the town and its surroundings, offering a route accessible to runners of all levels depending on the distance chosen. It is a chance to take on the marathon in an authentic Slovak setting, while less experienced runners can opt for the shorter race. The event remains a local reference for road runners in Slovakia.
