The Big Bears Ultra is an ultra trail event in the hills and mountains around Žilina, Slovakia, on 18 September 2027, with solo races of 118 km, 62 km and 40 km and a relay. Recognised as one of the toughest ultra trail races in the country, it is renowned for its demanding terrain and draws endurance athletes looking for a rigorous challenge in a scenic natural setting.

The BBU100+ (118 km, 6,300 m of elevation gain) starts at 6am, the BBU60+ (62 km, 3,500 m) at 10am and the BBU40 (40 km, 2,000 m) at 1pm. The BBU RELAY, also starting at 6am, lets teams of four tackle the 118 km route split into four sections.
