About

The PTI 5k/10k Run on the Runway in Greensboro is an annual event held on a 9,000-foot (2,743 m) runway, benefiting The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, Greensboro Urban Ministry and Open Door Ministries of High Point. On March 27, 2027, the 10K (6.2 miles) starts at 9:00 a.m., the 5K (3.1 miles) at 9:20 a.m. and the Walk to Win Against Hunger at 9:25 a.m.

Participants run or walk on a flat, smooth course that is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, a unique chance to see the runway up close. For safety reasons, bikes, inline skates, roller skates, dogs and other pets are not allowed.
