About

The Odense City Half takes place in Odense, Denmark's third-largest city, on the island of Funen, on 30 May 2027. Four races are on offer: a 21.1 km half marathon looping through the historic centre, a 10 km, a 5 km, and a 2.5 km children's race for 5 to 14-year-olds, with a medal for every finisher.

The half marathon course runs through the city-centre streets, green spaces and urban districts of Odense. The city, whose name means "Odin's sanctuary" in reference to Norse mythology, is also known as the birthplace of the writer Hans Christian Andersen. The race is held at the end of May, a time of long days and mild temperatures in Denmark.
