Fynske Bank De 3 Broer

Fynske Bank De 3 Broer is a point-to-point half marathon in Denmark, from Rudkøbing on the island of Langeland to the market square in Svendborg, 21.1 kilometres away. It takes place on 12 June 2027. Rather than a classic loop, the route crosses the South Funen Archipelago over the water by way of three landmark structures.

After leaving Ørstedsparken, runners cross the bridge linking Langeland, the causeway over the island of Siø and the bridge over the Siøsund strait, before a final stretch high above the Svendborgsund. The course is on tarmac and the elevation gain is moderate, but exposure to the sea wind can make it hard to hold a steady pace.

Pacers cover several target times, and the mass start is controlled by a lead vehicle for the first few hundred metres before the field is released. The finish in the heart of Svendborg usually comes in the distinctive summer light of northern Europe.
