The Occoneechee Mountain Challenge 10 Mile Race is a 10-mile (16.1 km) trail race in Hillsborough, Orange County, on February 21, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m. It is organized by the Hillsborough Running Club.

The race starts and finishes at the historic Occoneechee Speedway track, on a course that combines beauty with tough terrain and offers panoramic views along the Riverwalk, the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, the Occaneechi Indian Village and Gold Park. Runners cover paved paths, gravel roads and rugged trails, with significant elevation change around Occoneechee Mountain. Post-race refreshments are provided, and proceeds go to local charities.
