Leftovers Trail Run - NC

The Leftovers Trail Run takes runners onto the singletrack trails of Briar Chapel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, just days after Thanksgiving. Choose between a 5K and a 10K, and look out for the event's playful "treasure hunt" featuring vintage T-shirts and medals from past editions, all with an eco-conscious twist.

A post-race gathering rounds things out with food, a treasure hunt for kids, and an awards ceremony full of fun contests and giveaways. The race pairs with the earlier Birds of a Feather Trail Trot as a way to work off the holiday leftovers, and runners who sign up for both events get a discount.
