About

The New Forest Xmas Trails, part of the Bigfeat Christmas Trail Running Festival, kick off the festive season on 6 December 2026 in the magical winter setting of the New Forest National Park, with a 50 km ultramarathon, a trail marathon, a 30 km and a 15 km. The 50 km starts at 8:00am and the 30 km and 15 km at 9:00am.

Designed by trail runners for trail runners, the event offers fully waymarked single-loop courses on runnable but challenging off-road terrain. Runners set off from Holmsley campsite in Bransgore and head out across frosty heathland and enchanting woods. The New Forest Xmas Trails offer the perfect mix of winter wonder and trail running adventure, ideal for celebrating the festive season with one last exhilarating effort.
