About

The Muddy Paws 5 Mile & 10 Mile trail race takes place in Peninsula on June 12, 2027, in the scenic Kendall Lake area of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Runners can choose the 10-mile (16.1 km) or 5-mile (8 km) trail race, both starting at 9:00 a.m., or a 5K at 8:00 a.m.

Founded in 2005, the event supports the Humane Society of Summit County, which receives the proceeds. It welcomes runners of every level for a challenging outdoor experience, and participants can visit the on-site adoption vehicle, where they might just find a new companion for future adventures. The event celebrates fitness and a love of both running and dogs.
