Flirt with Dirt takes place in Brecksville, Ohio, in late March, on the trails of Brecksville Reservation, starting at the Oak Grove Picnic Area. The 10K (6.2 miles) starts at 8:00 a.m. and a new half marathon (13.1 miles) at 10:30 a.m.

The event is open to runners and hikers of all levels and highlights the landscapes of the area. The race starts in the morning with the shorter distance, while the half marathon gets a later start. Late March in northeast Ohio often means wet, soft trails, so shoes with grip and a dry change of clothes for afterward are practical, and a spare layer helps if you finish and then wait around the picnic area.
