About

The Great Bunny Hop takes place in Long Beach, California, in early April, with several distances along the beach path. The half marathon (13.1 miles) and the 10-mile run start at 7:00 a.m., and the 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) at 7:30 a.m.

The course is well organized, with well-stocked aid stations and a supportive environment from start to finish. Runners earn a finisher medal and share the day with a lively running community. Seaside Southern California mornings in April are generally mild, though a sea breeze can be noticeable on the beach path, so choose a comfortable layer you can ditch at the start. Check the official page for course maps and details.
