The Lock 2 Lock Marathon/Half Marathon/10k offers a marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km), a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) and a 10K (6.2 miles) along the C&O Canal Towpath in Williamsport, Maryland, on September 11, 2027. The marathon starts at 7:30 a.m., the half marathon at 8:00 a.m. and the 10K at 8:15 a.m.

Starting from Lock 44, runners follow a flat course with several aid stations serving water and sports drinks. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Each race follows its own designated out-and-back route, and the event puts runners' needs first, with clearly marked turnarounds and staffed aid zones along the course.
