Leki Ještěd 24 Winter Running Weekend

The Leki Ještěd 24 Winter Running Weekend is a 24-hour ultra-endurance event on the slopes of Ještěd (1,012 metres), near Liberec in the Czech Republic, held on 9 and 10 January 2027. The winter version of the summer ultra of the same name, it challenges runners to complete as many laps as possible, solo or in a relay, on a technical loop that alternates steep climbs through forest clearings and ski pistes with descents made slippery by powder snow, ice or slush.

The event is regarded as one of the toughest in Central Europe’s winter ultra-trail calendar and demands specific kit (traction spikes, spare head-torch batteries, spare warm clothing) to cope with the cold and the fatigue that builds over the hours. The weekend programme also lists the JEŠTĚD 42K, JEŠTĚD 21K and JEŠTĚD 10K alongside the JEŠTĚD 24 WINTER.
