About

The Leki Ještěd 24 Summer Running Weekend takes place on the slopes of Ještěd mountain near Liberec, in Czechia, on 12 and 13 June 2027. The programme lists JEŠTĚD 42K, JEŠTĚD 21K, JEŠTĚD 10K and JEŠTĚD 24 SUMMER (10 km, 650 metres of elevation gain), and the flagship event is a 24-hour ultra-endurance format.

The idea is simple: competitors, solo or in relay teams, complete as many laps as possible of a steep, technical loop on the mountain over a full day.

Each lap combines long, steep climbs, some leading up towards the ski jumps or along steep forest tracks, with rocky descents that take an increasing toll on the legs as the hours and laps pile up. It is as much a mental challenge as a physical one, in one of the emblematic mountain ranges of northern Czechia.
