Head for the Cure 5k - NC Triangle is a community 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at Southern Village Green in Chapel Hill on March 7, 2027, starting at 9 a.m. It raises funds and awareness for brain cancer research and support programs.

Proceeds go to the local UNC brain tumor program and to the national Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative. The event brings together people from all walks of life who share the same goal: supporting the brain tumor community and advancing the search for a cure for brain cancer. Head for the Cure has raised significant funds nationwide for these efforts.
