甲州アルプスオートルートチャレンジ

The 甲州アルプスオートルートチャレンジ (Koshu Alps Auto Route Challenge) is a top-level trail race held in Kōshū, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, on 8 November 2026, with distances of 108 km, 70 km, 55 km and 36 km, plus shorter 4.5 km and 3 km courses. It puts endurance to the test on a demanding high-altitude course: more than 80% of the route is on narrow trails winding through virgin beech and oak forest, with superb views of Mount Fuji.

Whether looking for a tough ultramarathon or a shorter course to get started in trail running, runners will find events to suit all levels. The technical terrain features steep, relentless climbs and descents that will test even the most seasoned athletes. Along the way, aid stations known for their local specialities provide plenty to refuel on.
