Israel's Dead Sea Marathon in Ein Bokek is the only race held at the lowest point on Earth (-430 m), on secure embankments along the borders of Israel, Jordan and the West Bank. On 5 February 2027, it offers distances from 5K to 50K: a 50K and a marathon at 06:15, a half marathon at 07:15, a 10K at 07:45 and a 5K at 09:30.

Held under special permits, the race takes place in an environment where the dense, oxygen-rich air may boost performance. It is a rare chance to run in a strictly controlled zone, with dramatic desert views.
