The Arad-Masada Run, organised by Marathon Israel with the Arad municipality, crosses the Judean Desert to finish at the foot of the Masada fortress at sunrise. The event begins the evening before at Kfar Hanokdim, between Arad and Masada, with a race village and a night in the desert.

Three courses are on offer: a 17 km mountain single-track trail, an 11 km hilly road route and a 5 km road route. Waves start at dawn and every course finishes at the foot of Masada, where a finish party welcomes the runners.
