Happy Girls Bend Run

The Happy Girls Bend Run takes place in Bend, Oregon, in early May, as part of the Happy Girls Run series of women-only races in central Oregon. Choices are a half marathon (13.1 miles) at 9:00 a.m., a 10K at 9:15 and a 5K at 9:30. The courses use a mix of trails, maintained paths and paved surfaces.

At the finish, participants receive a gift bag and a unique medal, and refreshments are served during the post-race gathering. Bend sits at roughly 3,600 feet of elevation in the high desert, where spring mornings can be crisp even if the afternoon turns warm, so dress in layers that you can shed at the start.
