FootZone Dirty Half

The FootZone Dirty Half takes place in Bend, Oregon, in early June, and is described as the classic trail half marathon of Bend. The race (13.1 miles) starts at 7:00 a.m. with a half mile on pavement, which gives runners a chance to settle into a rhythm before the course moves onto dirt roads and singletrack winding through central Oregon scenery.

The mix of challenge and fun suits runners of all levels. Every finisher receives a special prize, while the top three in each division (men, women, masters men and masters women) earn exclusive awards, and sponsors contribute raffle prizes. Central Oregon trails can be dusty, and the high desert sun and elevation can make the effort feel harder than expected.
