The Good Hops 5k Beer Run is a lively trail race of 3 miles (4.8 km) in Carolina Beach State Park, starting and finishing at Good Hops Brewing in Carolina Beach, at 9 a.m. on June 19, 2027. Proceeds benefit local causes, and runners can expect natural trails that are easy yet engaging.

The event includes a beer festival for those 21 and over, plus family activities. Top runners are recognized in several categories, with special honors for military, families and youth. Leashed dogs are welcome outside the race area. It is a small, warm community event with a traditional, friendly feel.
