Garden Spot Village Half Marathon & 10K

The Garden Spot Village Half Marathon & 10K takes place in Earl Township, Pennsylvania, in early April, on a road course through farmland. The first 3.1 miles are closed to traffic, and after that runners share the roads with vehicles, though traffic is expected to be light. Horses and buggies are a possibility, and runners are asked to stay on the left side of the road, facing oncoming traffic. Cones mark the route about every 1,000 feet, event staff are posted at as many turns as possible, each turn is clearly marked, and fire police slow traffic at the busiest intersections. Both a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 10K (6.2 miles) are offered.
