About

The SRG "Spring Ahead" Half Marathon takes place in Union Township, Pennsylvania, in early March, at the Union Meadows Recreation Complex. The 13.1-mile race starts at 10:00 a.m. and benefits Schuylkill River Greenways.

The course is flat and fast. Participants who register before the deadline receive a race-themed shirt, and finishers get a medal designed by an artist. Awards go to the top finishers and to winners in several age groups, and part of each entry fee goes to Schuylkill River Greenways. Water stops and portable toilets are placed at strategic points on the course, and a large parking area is close to the venue. Early March in Pennsylvania can be icy or damp, so pack layers.
