About

The Fall Creek Falls 50K and Half Marathon Trail Runs take place in Spencer, Tennessee, in the second half of March, in Fall Creek Falls State Park. The 50K (31.1 miles) starts at 8:00 a.m. and the half marathon (13.1 miles) at 9:00 a.m.

Runners enjoy cooler temperatures and panoramic views of the park, including a notable waterfall. The area sits conveniently between Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville. Aid stations are provided, there is a gathering after the race, and packets can be picked up in advance. Entries are nonrefundable, and shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. A limited number of rooms is available at the Lodge at Fall Creek Falls for those who need lodging. Trails on the Cumberland Plateau can be wet and rocky in March, so shoes with grip are worth the investment.
