Sloth Runner's Race

The Sloth Runner's Race takes place in Miami, Florida, in early May, with three distances: a 5K (3.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles). The route follows city roads with views of the Miami skyline. May in South Florida is already hot and humid, so starting at a relaxed pace, drinking early and often, and wearing light clothing are worth keeping in mind. After the race, the area offers plenty to explore, including Ocean Drive and its Art Deco architecture, the Wynwood district with its murals and Everglades National Park, where visitors can see alligators.
